That is part of being divorced. Even when you are the one that wanted it, you still feel alone. You seem to notice all the married and happy couples and all of sudden you are alone. It sucks, but I am sure at some point this kind of feeling will end. At least I hope it does.

honestly I get more depressed when I get around my family. After my divorce they made me feel like it was all my fault. I was the screw up, but they didn't realize what was happening behind closed doors. I don't know if I am the person to give you advice cause I am still on antidepressants but keep your head up and take it a day at a time. I know somedays will be worse than others but you have to keep going. Good luck.

Never, even if I am depressed or lonely, I can still mingle with the best of them and can even be the life of the party. At times when I am alone with no one in my life (like my current state), I don't mind going to parties and functions, and just mingle. Not to sound stupid, I Iike to go so I can feed off the people's energy (emotionally), and lift my spirits for the time being. A bit of self therapy.

You know, sometimes I think divorce is worse than a death ... The other person is there, but not ... Does that make sense?
Time will take care of the pain and there's no time limit for when we stop grieving. I hope you feel better soon.

Yes and it seems like no one else understands your pain. They all walk around here with there faces glowing with love and your in the mist racking and withering in pain. I know the feeling too well.

sorry to hear that. At least you have people who love you around. I guess, it's ok to get wrapped up in your situation, I'm sure your family understand.
