WHAT!?

Well, this explains why Santa never comes and leaves gifts for my daughter. All this time, I thought she was just being really bad...

People need sleep, no matter what. Parents can be very impatient, so after the kids have gone to bed, they relax a little, eating the cookies and drinking the milk, then put extra presents under the tree, with Santa's name on them. As we get older, we can stop believing in what's good for us. No wonder older people can be grumpy.
Now when Santa gets there, he has nothing to eat or drink, and that will make for a thin Santa. Because of this, he hurrys off to the next house. If they have a snack for him, he'll take a little longer, and chances are, some little boy or girl will see him.

Well obviously, Santa is like that annoying neighbor that keeps coming around.

Do you think your parents enjoy having some stranger break into their house, and leave stuff under your tree (fire hazard), stuff that's just going to be broken and thrown away in a couple of years, and have it all wrapped up in paper they have to clean up because the kids are to busy playing with toys instead of spending time with them?

Parents want to teach little kids to be nice and polite, thats why the kids are allowed to leave out milk and cookies. But the parents don't want to let Santa think that he's welcome, so they eat it so Santa goes hungry.

Santa has a really bad memory (he's old), so when he comes and sees an empty plate and cup, he forgets that he didn't eat it already and then he goes.

See, if you don't leave food out for him, or make it look like you did, he gets annoyed at you, then he'll raid your fridge. It's really embarrasing to have your kids wake up to see all their presents smashed with a baseball bat and the fridge left open with all the food gone, believe me on that one.

If Santa ate all the cookies and drank all the milk that all the boys and girls left him then he would not be able to get down the chimney. Santa and parents have a deal that if he does not eat the snack left for him, then the parents can eat it. Don't believe what the others wrote.

You've seen Santa now, the jolly FAT old St Nick.
His cholesterol is over the roof and if he eats all the cookies and milk set out for him, he sure to keel over from heart attack. however, he is unable to resist anything that has been given to him
Hence, the parents over the world helps out by eating his treats, to keep him alive and healthy.
As for the presents, Santa may not be able to deliver them on time, hence he UPS the parcels to the parents and inform them to place the presents if he could not make it. That is why children are to sleep earlier, so that they won't be disappointed if Santa was stuck in air traffic

Well, I am a 36 year old parent and we buy our daughter some presents for Christmas and we put them under the tree on Christmas Eve.

However, on Christmas morning, there are always more presents than what we put out! (We can't afford to buy ALL of that stuff - are you kidding??) Also, last year my daughter woke up and had a new stuffed "santa" in her bed! He had to have left it for her!

Maybe your parents just had a sweet tooth and needed a snack, but at our house - we believe!

Mine do not, Santa drinks the milk and eats the cookies. Your parents may have to do this, because you not really believe and Santa not come to see you.

There are different interpretations of Santa, Santa is more of a spirit than an actual physical being he can tak on many shapes and look like different things, you just think it's your parents but it is a disguised santa. this is why no two santas in the mall look exactly alike.

My parents never ate the cookies, Santa did. And if they did eat them, that's OK. They gave me some great Christmases. Wish they were still around to share some cookies with.
