Well I'm 16 1/2 weeks pregnant and today I'm seeing the doctor for the first time. Well actually I saw the doctor when I was 5 weeks pregnant but didn't see a heartbeat and couldn't really see anything on the ultrasound because she didn't do it vaginal she did it over my stomach so I couldn't really see anything. Since then I haven't seen any doctor because I've ben moving around alot. Well what I wanna know is do you think I will be having an ultrasound and if so how possible is it to be able to tell the sex of the baby?

You can see the sex of the baby but I dont know about the u/s. Tell them you dont know how far along you are and they might dp a dating u/s. Good luck

It is possible to tell the sex of the baby if it cooperates and depending on the ultrasound machine they use. The little one's in the doctors office are not as good as the ones at the hospital. I am going to find out what I am having on Friday and I am 22 weeks. My friend was a high risk pregnancy and got a lot of ultrasounds and found out at 15 weeks. Good Luck!

In a ultrasound they can see the sex of the baby around 18-20 weeks. Congratulations to you. I am 15 weeks at the moment.

I'm assuming your about 4 months so you might be able to find out the sex, but theres probably not that high a chance yet. My cousin is 6 weeks and today had an ultrasound and they where not expecting to hear but where shocked that you could hear the heartbeat. So you will at least be able to hear it but I'm not sure if you will be able to find out the sex. Good luck!

i was 16 weeks and 3 days when my dr. did an in office ultrasound and got a perfect view of a boy. i got it verified last week at my regular ultrasound. it is possible if the baby will let the groin area be seen. good luck

yes, they'll do one especially if they couldnt see a heartbeat the first time.good luck!! cant see the sex til about 25 weeks.

From what i have heard about ultrasounds, it is genuine so you can trust that you will get a positive result.

i found out at 16 weeks with my son but this time around my doctor is making me wait till 19, he said everything will be clearer then

they might do one and if they do its all up to baby if you will see the sex or not. good luck
