I am 23 weeks with my third child and for the past 2 - 3 weeks I have had a lot more discharge than usual. (Sorry to be so graphic) It is pretty clear, sometimes a little cloudy or milky, not thick, and does not have any odor to it. There is really nothing different about it than normal discharge, it is just that there seems to be much more than normal. The inside of my labia is somewhat irritated and itches as well. I don't know if this is because it is irritated from constantly wiping after I use the restroom or not. I do not recall anything like this with my other pregnancies. I know it is not a yeast infection, the discharge is not the same. I don't think it is BV because their is no odor and the discharge is not gray. What is going on? Am I being paranoid? Has this happened to anyone else? I go to the doc on Friday. Should I ask to have tests done? SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY!

This is normal and I actually had it with my third pregnancy as well. It is not a yeast infection (maybe if there's itching along with it). It's something that your body goes through sometimes while you're pregnant; therefore you should have nothing to worry about. I would not schedule an appointment right away. If you still have any anxieties, just discuss with your OB/GYN at your next visit. (no rush)

its probably a yeast infection. Women get these alot when they are pregnant, and i know when i get them the discharge never smelled and it was always milky or cloudy as you put it. Its really nothing to be concerned about but call your dr. office. Usually they will tell you how to cure it. Its not dangerous to your baby. And get use to it im sure you will have more :) its just due to the increased hormones. Its very common. No need to worry....:)

I would have said yeast infection, though you seem to think it's not. I'm a mom of one, and I didn't take any chances when I was pregnant...call the Dr. today...don't wait until your visit. If it's nothing, you'll rest easy. If it's something, you'll have the problem addressed that much earlier.

I would make an appointment with your Obgyn as soon as possible and ask to talk to the nurse when you call and tell her whats going on. She may have some suggestions to help you deal with this, and she/he will be able to access your chart and see if this is something that should be dealt with as soon as possible. Good luck with the new baby and happy holidays :o)

It is completely normal that you have excess discharge (aggravating, but normal).
