I want to turn over a new leaf, like change my lifestyle, get healtier etc..

so any suggestions, what do i do to leave the old me behind? im still in school tho, so dont suggest get a new job..

Start with making a list. List a few simple things you can do today, that will give you a better tomorrow (like eating a salad instead of that hamburger, or walking). Let your goals be realistic and attainable.

New hair do, eat healtier, Maybe weed out the old friends that are keeping you in a rut and want change their life style, make new ones that are like you, want to turn over a new leaf and do what is better for yourself. Stay with it, you deserve it, proud of you.

Start working out. Get a new haircut...something different than you would normally get. It will remind you daily of your goal to be a new you! change your diet. Eat more well balanced, less processed meals. Drink water daily. Get more sleep....set a bedtime and stick to it. Learn something new....knitting, painting, photography, writing, dancing. Whatever you think you might enjoy. Develop skills you don't use now with that new hobby. Try everything once, at least once. What can it hurt?

Read some of Thomas Sowell's works a great thinker and has influenced my life greatly.

And read.....expand your horizons...........
especially to keep yourself sane in the midst of academia.

Change your mind, change your life! That sounds cheesy but it's so true. Your mind can be your escape or your prison - only you decide.

get a makeover..change your hairstyle or makeup or clothing style and you'll feel like a different person in no time
