My goodness, look at all the nay sayers. Any other team that would post the record the hawks have in the last 10 games, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Ottawa...and wed have talk of serious cup contention. Look at the teams Chicago has beaten...Montreal, Anahiem, Nashville x2, Edmonton. Yes its only December, but the same can be said for every other team. If anyone else experiences the injuries Chicago had in October, they would most likely tank the rest of the season, to have the likes of Havlat, Ruutu, and Khabibulin out for a month, not doubt they lost 7 in a row, who wouldnt? Its a good thing Chicago got the injuries out of the way, and Khabibulin is back to Stanley Cup Championship form. Hawks in the playoffs this year...dam right....and I feel sorry for any goalie, staring down the ice at Havlat coming at him in the playoffs.

I study that Savard's first prepare substitute into harder than Yawney's. he's changing the pastime play slightly, particularly having D pinch slightly greater. i think of he would be regarded as much as greater advantageous than Yawney as he has been respected because his enjoying days. additionally, the Hawks will do greater suited purely by using having all their key gamers lower back, so if the Hawks do turn their season around it purely heavily isn't by using fact of Savard.

Turn Around, yes. Play-offs? DOn't hold your breath you may turn blue. It's easy to excited when your team starts playing better but remember to be realistic. I know what you are going through though, been a Pens fan for years and it's fun to watch now and they are playing so much better but i think they'll come up short at the end of the season.

IF (that's a big IF) the hawks do make the playoffs they will lose in the first round (just like the bears!).
The only Chicago team that is any good are The Cubs!

As long as key players, like Martin Havlat, don't get injured then they could be a playoff bound team.
