Hi Oprah,
I like to know if it ok to say , Why not have a crowd of audiences of minorities like Native Am. Indians, Black, Mexican, Japanese and etc. I know that I see on your show is alot of white working people but hardly any minorities. Plus, how can you offer your help to Native American Indians to know us and ask us questions. That would be great on your show an radio. Thanks

Oprah isn't going to read this, and she caters to white housewives anyway.

I would assume that Oprah's audience is made up of those people that buy the tickets. Therefore how can that be racial? If she decided to have a minority audience only, she WOULD be considered racist. Just as if she decided to have an all-white audience. The public would eat her alive...
Allthough you should email her (on her site there's a link to email her) and ask her if she would be interested in having a show about finding out what Native Americans are all about. Maybe she could travel to a reservation and visit with an actual tribe and find out about their culture. Even attend a Powow.
Then again, she's probably already done that. She seems to have been everywhere else...

Yeah, sometimes I wonder why there are no Black women in the show's audience. I guess the answer is they can't afford to go waste 2 hours on some talk show because they actually have to work for a living. I doubt they baby's daddies have a job, so they have to bring home the bacon. A lot of white women have responsible husbands who work, so they can afford to go watch Oprah in the studio. A little sad ain't it?

Oprah doesn't pick the audience. I guess those people don't care to go or there aren't enough in the crowd for you to notice.

btw, I've NEVER met a native american! How ODD is that...yes, my grandmother's parents were both 1/2 Sioux BUT honestly, I've never met ONE!!!! who didn't have blonde hair and blue eyes claiming to be Cherokee I mean. Is that normal????

whilst i replaced into youthful, i replaced into gullible and believed in that style of stuff; like people being the antichrist or the government attempting to take over the international. I now understand that it relatively is absurd. Oprah Winfrey isn't devil, she is a television character that still happens to be good at conversing and magnificent visitors. She has no longer performed something "evil." remember, there are real people in the back of the stars you watch on television. they have lives. they are no longer bent on taking on the international the two (maximum of them). in case you opt to understand approximately somebody, attempt and meet them, do no longer in basic terms formulate innovations approximately them and concoct conspiracy theories. you may locate that the guy is thoroughly diverse than you expected. :D

I don't know if Oprah will read this exact post. It'd be better to send it to her website. And how do they choose who applies comes to sit in the audience? Still, the aim of your question is understandable. Good luck with that.

oprah caters to the crowd she feels most comfortable with. i too have wondered why she does not have more of a diverse audience. Perhaps other ethnic groups do not have the luxury of whining over petty crap! she seems to have discussions and topics that are more appealing to the "country club wives."

She would probably have more black people on her show if more black people enjoyed it. I just don't think she has a large minority audience, it's not because she's trying to exclude anyone.
