I have a laptop and a desktop on my network. They are both running XP. I have run the network wizard on both computers. I can now access the desktop files on my laptop, but I access the laptop from the desktop. I can "ping" the desktop from the laptop, but I can't "ping" the laptop from the desktop. When I click on "View Workgroup computers" on the desktop, I get an error message stating that my workgroup is not accessible and that I might not have permission to use this network resource. Network path was not found. What in the world do I do with this? I am getting very frustrated with this issue. I have been trying to get my computers networked since September!! Can someone PLEASE help me!!!! Also, if this is pertinent information, the laptop is wireless and the desktop plugs directly into my router with an ethernet.

Yes, I have both computers set to share files and I have restarted a few times.
