I am wearing a red cocktail dress, knee length, to a holiday party w/some silver embelishments. What color of nylons should I wear? (black,white,nude...?)

Wear nude stockings / pantyhose with a black seam. Your legs will look wonderful! Several places carry them. Here is an example:

Personally I would go with the Nude color and some 4" red ankle strapped heels.

May I suggest nude or taupe RHT stockings from the leg salon at secretsinlace.com
very very elegant and make your legs look much better than traditional hose
