Why does Yahoo.com use so much CPU usage?

Using Yahoo as my home page is causing my pc to run very slow. The CPU Utilization for Iexplore.exe runs around 85% or higher, sometimes running at a constant 99% for several minutes. Changing the web page to something other than Yahoo, brings CPU Utilization back down to 0% after the page loads successfully. Any ideas, other than NOT using Yahoo as my home page?

it doesn't ur internet is not fast enough
