depends on the company. I like to count mine as mostly polite but most of us like to get into the religious or political fracas now and again. Rarely is sex an subject of heated debate but there's only so many people with an interesting story.

There isn't anything I think should not be discussed in public. I think when we don't discuss things and they become taboo is when the public problems appear because no one is addressing them and are embarrassed when they are brought up.
