yep, my horses (all are mares) go into heat every month. Just like women, it depends on the horse. One gets really bitchy and makes a mess of her stall, and the others dont exhibit any behavior problems!

Yes, yes, and yes. It just doesn't happen as frequently with animals like dogs. Cats however... good God!!! Have you never heard a cat in heat???!?!?!?! It's enough to drive a person crazy! And as soon as it stops - She comes right back into it again!

yes some female animals do have a period
as i have seen and read about this it is true.
one example of an animal that gets a period is a female sheep and i have read that they do exhibit irritable symptoms
but sheeps arent the only one lol

yes they do, female dogs get there period every six months but they bleed for two weeks..Yes they get moody.yes every female animal is able to get their period they all have ovaries
