here its illegal. all that stuff gets in the storm drains and clogs them up. that can cause problems in storms and even a small clog can be a breeding ground for thousands of mosquitos. you're also throwing more organic matter into the rivers which kills the fish.

sweeping your rubbish into the sewer is not a good thing unless you plan on picking them up.

You must check with your local township. Each township is different. Some have mechancial street sweepers and it would cause a problem for them.
Some will stop it because it will block the storm drains.

i guess it depends on were you live in the world, i would try a search online to best answear that, type in your aria you live, i.e.; city, state, zip code and then put a "/" or a "," with the word ordinances or local laws to find out. from there do a search based on your question hear. you should know exactly what you want to from there, good luck.

In most cases it is, especially if u have a city storm sewer system which will create it to dam up with your debris.

In most places, yes. Use a mulching mower and you will not have this problem. Also, your lawn will be healthier.

If so, then i'm a hard bitter criminal! lol. I don't think so, and even if it was; I really don't think the police or anyone for that matter is going to care much about it.
