A friend of mine used to date a guy named Dane... he played football. It always made me think of the dogs, though... you know, Great Danes....
(Or Claire Danes, the actress..)

I think of a giant dog when I think of the name Dane...I dunno that's just me. I do know there's a comedian by the name of Dane Cook who's been on HBO doing his Tourgasm special....
