After watching Lost the other night I was more confused than ever, I'm sure that the guy that was married to Kate was one of the Others. I'm also sure that he is the one that kidnapped Claire in the first series but was later killed by Charlie, or was I just imaginning it?

A lot of the Others are popping up in the back stories without explaination. Did you not notice the big grey haired guy was the guy growing weed in Locke's back story a couple of weeks ago?

No, it wasn't Ethan Rom! Kate would have surely recognised him during his brief soujourn with the Losties in Series 1.
