Some of the stuff is funny but thinking of a guy turning a knob to bring laughter turns me off. Some stuff is not funny at all.

When a show is so bad, and so poorly written, they rely on the laughtracks. The laughtracks exist to trick stupid people into thinking something is funny.

That is why the Laugh Tracks exist in the first place .. the shows that are using it all the time is BECAUSE ..
the shows are NOT funny at all!

It really p*sses me off when the joke is totally gay and they only programmed the laugh track in to FORCE the joke to be funny, and you know that nobody else is laughing.

wow, i'm watching a show now and i never realized how eerie laugh tracks were. it's like the powers from above are subconsciously telling you what is funny and what isn t. CrEeEeEePy!!

Did you ever notice Scooby Doo has a laugh track in it? That's why I can't stand to watch that.

That's why I like the sitcoms that are taped in front of a studio audience... the laughs you hear are real.
