You can find out the sex as soon as 16 weeks on an ultrasound.
As for kicks, you should be feeling them very soon....anywhere from 16-22 weeks...the norm is 18-20 though.

Answer: While an ultrasound can identify fetal movement as early as 7 to 8 weeks of pregnancy, women generally don't begin to feel the baby move until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks or later, particularly if it's the woman's first pregnancy.
The initial sensations you'll notice aren't real kicks, either. Instead, some women describe the feeling as being like popcorn popping or butterflies in the stomach. If you don't feel any activity by 22 weeks, ask your doctor or midwife about it.
After a while, you'll begin to discern a pattern to your baby's movement and you'll know if something's amiss. If he's not moving as often as he usually does, your baby may be in distress. Ask your practitioner when and how to count your baby's kicks.

At 16 weeks they can tell what the sex of your baby is. If you haven't started to feel little flutters (I call them gas bubbles, because that is what they feel like) then you will within the next few weeks. That will be the first time you feel the baby moving around. I didn't feel an actual kick until around 23 or 24 weeks, but I felt those flutters all the time from 16 weeks on.

Take a pencil w/ a eraser and a needle with string put it in the end of the pencil someone with a steady hand hold over the palm of you hand without moving it. If it starts moving a round in a circle it is a girl and if it moves back and forth it is a boy. Do that and let me know what it is. I have 3 kids and my mom done that and as been right everytime with me and my sister. if you keep it up long enough it will tell the sex of your next and how many kids you will have and what they will be ,

you kicks that you can really feel and see when you're lying or sitting down, it probably won't be until about 20 weeks. I think that's when i first REALLY felt mine. as for the sex of the baby, i didn't find out until 26 weeks, but it varies. the longer you wait, the more accurate the reading will be...sometimes you can't really tell and sometimes as the baby develops you can tell plain as day.

You should start feeling the baby move at 16-20 weeks. Ask your doctor when you will be getting an ultrasound - they should be able to determine the sex then, if your little one is willing to cooperate.
