Florida will beat Ohio State like a drum. Michigan fans, stop your whining. You had better be glad you lost to Ohio State otherwise it would be you taking the beating instead. You'll have your hands full with USC.

First, I am an objective football fan from the northeast and I believe that Ohio State is way too much for Florida. In fact, I don't believe that Florida is even one of the top 5 teams in the Nation, but politics and BCS being what it may, they get the nod.
The best matchup, by far, would have been a rematch of Ohio State v Michigan. Had that game taken place much earlier int he season, we would have seen the rematch under the pretext that the game took place early in the season and Michigan rebounded well and has "gotten better." Of course, that logic is poppy-cock and hopefully this situation will inspire change in the current system so we can actually get excited about a true 1 v 2 matchup. I, for one, have no interest in tuning in that night to see Ohio State play Florida, even if every other channel is running "I love Lucy" reruns all night!

People that wanted the rematch and Ohio State's fans will tell you no. People who are Florida's fans will tell you yes. My answer? since I'm not a Florida or a Ohio State fan, I would say "maybe" Anything is possible.

Anything can happen. That's why they play the game. Florida has a good defense, but their offense has struggled. Ohio State has good defense and offense. I would think Ohio State has the advantage and will most likely win.

I'm sorry but Florida is just not skilled enough. I mean they've got game I'll give 'em props but they just can't hold off Troy Smith and his game. Florida barely beat Florida State (NOT EVEN RANKED!) how do you expect them to beat the 12-0 undefeated team/best team in the nation?

P.S.- But anything can happen :).

Anything can happen, but I think that Ohio State will win the National Championship this year.

No AND I hope it's a non entertaining blowout early that causes the ratings to drop early. It'll serve the BSC and the National sports media right for some of this nonsense going on in the ratings system.

I'm not a Buckeyes fan, but they're a better team on both sides of the ball. Florida will need to play a perfect game with no turnovers and no mistakes to win, and even then it might not happen.
