there actually two ways... you could get an aux to aux cable but you need to have a radio equiped w/ aux ready... if not you could just buy a tape thing w/ a headphone cable just put it in like a normal cassette (not cd cassette) and plug it into your ipod (thats what i do ^_^)

There are a couple ways you could.

1. check and see if you have an RCA inputs, depending on if you have a factory model or an installed cd player. If you have them, then you could get a y-adapter at radio shack ($8) and hook one end to the ipod, other in RCA jack and your done.

2. By an FM transmitter ipod product and broadcast the ipod to your radio, have to find an unused frequency though.

3. Expense route is the Harman Kardon - Drive+Play

4. The cassette method and the aux to aux method above

The cassette adapter is OK, but usually brings a lot of noise into the signal. The best solution is the hard-wired harness (or an AUX IN cable if you have inputs on the front of your car stereo. But there's another solution that I like. Use an FM transmitter. Make sure you buy one that will set anywhere in the full FM range so you can find a vacant channel. These sometimes can make the make the sound a little muffled, so don't necessarily go with the cheapest option. Go with quality. Here's a link to Amazon's website for a Belkin unit just as an example.

you'll need a special adapter, i suggest the one, that's manufactured by Apple. Even if you could save 10 bucks on imitation, the sound difference is HUGE.

You can also buy a car stereo with a USB connector, made by RCA (i think), but they are difficult to operate, and not as convenient.

I'm not sure of the exact product name, but there's a tape that has a cord in it. You plug the cord into your iPod, and then put the tape in the tape player and hit play! My mom got one of 'em for Christmas last year, and whenever she drives me and my friends down to the mall, I always plug in my iPod and we start singing along (very off key, I might add).
