just some random thoughts...
Consider taking him to the symphony or a concert where the piano is featured. See if you can find software that could enable him to actually write music, or find out from his parents/dad if he's interested in other music and maybe you could get him that instrument (e.g. folk guitar) or give him money towards lessons (e.g. guitar, drums, singing, etc.)
Or offer to take him and a friend to a local/regional theme park, like Six Flags, etc.for the day. Get him out and with a friend...
Since he likes to ride his bike, perhaps he'd also be interested in other physical activities...e.g. a ski lesson with rentals for the day, etc.
Is he in college? Away? If so, perhaps the promise of a "care package" every 1-2 months during the school year... popcorn, other food, school supplies, etc.
Good luck! He sounds like a good kid, but you're right, sounds like he should get out more, socialize more, find things that he's passionate about.

I Tunes Gift Card, Then He can download music that he wants to listen to. A lot of people like to express themselves and how they feel by music. If he has a computer, then this would work.

Does he drive? If so, a teenager could always use a gas card nowadays. Maybe an ipod, mp3, digital camera... Those are hot electronics that are great for all ages.
