I am almost 6 weeks pregnant and, do you know what pop rocks sound like? I have that poping sound in my ear. Its doesnt hurt, and it just started like 10 mins ago. Is that normal with pregnancies, or should I call my doctor. I dont want to go crazy over every little thing, but I just want to know? Does that make sence? Please not smart remarks, I just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else in early pregnancy. And I dont have water in my ear either, any insites? Thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone!! Happy Holidays!!!!

It happened to me, but mine was everytime I swallowed I heard the popping, and it actually never went away after I was pregnant. My doctor told me it had something to do with my sinuses, because they got worse when I was pregnant. He didn't give me anything for it, and he said it wasn't anything to worry about. It is just aggravating that it still happens almost 7 years after the pregnancy! I would just mention it to your doctor, though.

It could be sinuses. Check with you doctor. I found out I was pregnant because of the sinuses. I had not had them before. I took a test and I was pregnant. Now I am 12 weeks. The sinuses are much better, but occasionally I still have ear stuffiness and popping. As I said check with your doctor. Congrats on the baby.

it's nothing to do with being pregnant. Your ears are popping. Kinda like when you're in an airplane... it's nothing to worry about. It's probably doing that because of the weather changing. My ears have been popping alot too, I just blame it on our crazy weather.

it's part of that general head congestion that happens to some women when they get pregnant, it's nothing to worry about unless your ear starts to hurt. When you get pregnant your blood volume increases and so lots of thing get swollen including your sinus passages.
