It is selfish for me to think of myself and spend my time and money on my self, my family and my friends, BUT it is not selfish for someone to sit on their azz all day, not do anything except stick their hand out and expect others to take care of them?

It is not selfish to take care of yourself, your friends, and family first. But second you should give a little to some charity every once in a while. Like at Christmas you could donate $25 to the Salvation Army or a local soup kitchen.....It's all about Karma, what you give, you receive, either in this life or another....

Are you talking about the aged or kids? My sixteen year old does that hand out crap and I just wanna stick my foot ankle deep in her butt.
Daddy I need money. Daddy let me use the car. Daddy there's no gas. Daddy what's for dinner.
Her mom was the same way!
The hell of it is. I divorced her lazy useless mother. I make my daughter work and earn money and I'm called an Ogre. Where's the damn justice!

you must do what you feel in your heart is the right thing to do. one needs to take care of their own first and personally have made it a policy never to help others over the Internet except to give suggestions where to get help as there are devious people out there looking for a " soft touch " as the saying goes.
