Always have and always will. Tassie will get dog treats and a bone and the cats always get treats, catnip and I just got them a ribbon/fabric curtain for a doorway with little balls at the bottom. I wrap the cats presents in fresh dried catnip scented wrapping paper (sprinkle catnip in a bag with the paper for a few hours to keep the scent) and they know which is theirs....usually opened before we even wake up. You can hide their present, but they will find it. Last year they got a cat pole with 4 perches (floor to ceiling-only $35 at Walmart) and went crazy with it....of course it was sprinkled with catnip. Still need to get a bag of Huggies for "Honeybunz" (my paralyzed kitty) though. Yes, they also get to eat dinner with us, though not at the table, and yes most of the food is very good for pets (potatoes, vegies, cranberries, turkey, etc.-they are ingredients in pet foods). They just don't get dessert...okay..a few licks of Cool Whip. Merry Christmas to all the pets out there!!!!

I did. I thought a new toy might be a good distraction for while everyone else is pulling open their presents. Personally, we travel (with our dog) to have Christmas at both our parents' houses so I have one present for each house. My dog isn't big on treats - he'd rather have a new chew toy so I bought the toys that I thought he would find most engaging. I've put them in a bag so he can "open" a present too. This is our first Christmas with a dog (he's about 5 months old) so we'll see how it goes. He will probably still end up trying to eat all the bows.

Yes I do. My Lab has a stocking that gets filled up toys, and treats. He also gets a new collar, huge bones and the 12" bully stick plus some of the larger toys. He also gets Christmas Dinner.

I usually get them a small treat. I have a hamster at the moment, and will probably get him a honey or popcorn treat. When i had cats, I used to buy a few toys and give them some pork as their Christmas dinner.

Absolutely. I hang my dogs' stockings up with the rest of the family's. They get new treats and toys. One of them got a new bed for his birthday, the other got a new house.

Yeah. I usually get them one of those stockings pre-packed with too many treats, and a new toy. This years new toy looks like a feather boa which has bells on - my kitten loves feathers

christmas and birthday presents for your pets at holidays are a must...they have just as much fun opening them as a small child would. I found that sqweaking balls, talking stuffed animals and bags of snacks are all big hits with my dogs

well there is plenty to choose from at petsmart but if you want to get creative there are some homemade toys you can make for cats or dogs that are really cheap/ or stuff thats already around the house. You could even home bake them some goodies-with love!! Some that even help fight fleas! Cats love foil balls and feathers, dogs love old shoes!

Yes! I bought treats, toys, and a christmas outfit for each dog.

A little crazy, I know, but they actually like to get dressed up cuz everyone fusses over them more!
