it is easy to say ' i love you' but can anybody define the word love what does it mean?

I believe that love is just another word for caring and liking but its alot stronger. Its easy for anyone to say love because they dont know what it really means. Its like you can open a closed door when you dont no what behind it. But it all depends how you use it. If you say it that has meaning in your heart then you no what luv is. People just guess now and days at what THEY think it is but when you feel it, see it, breathe it, you dont need to no the definition cuz you already no what it is.

Everyone has their own personal definition for love. Webster defines love as: "a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person", and while that is an accurate depiction of what it is, there's still more to it than just that: those words have just scratched the surface. Love is the essence of true happiness. It is a flame of passion that burns within you, and an eternity without the one you love would be worse than death. But that is my take on it. Love is truly an opinion based definition, and one can only experience it to understand it fully.

Love is something that nobody can explain... Love is a feeling that connects the souls of people who really care about each other. Its when you are seperated from the person that you love and you cry every day.It's when you feel no lust. It's when you care about a person more that anything in the world. When you are willing to sacrifice anything for them. Love is when you want to be int he arms of that person forever. Its unexplainable, but its very beautiful. Its when you don't want sex but just to be with each other. I don't know if I have ever experienced love...Though, I wish I will.

it is easy to say i love you but it hates to know that you are not loved back because love means so much more than we can ever imagine. i think love is the condition where the happiness of another person is enssential to your own, you know, it is just so important that that person is happy because you really want them to be. its like a piece of music. all the instruments and voices must blend well to produce good music right and in reality, the instruments would probably be trust, honsety and responsibility while the voices would include sharing, protecting, always there 4 one another and dedicating your wholeheart to the other. it just simply means you can die 4 one another person!!! so did you really mean it when you told that person you love her or him?? cheers!

Love is something that you can only express through you feelings. Nothing you say can amount to what love is. Love is a feeling and a wonderful feeling at that. Its hard to describe it and you only know when you are in love no one else can tell you and never tell anyone that you love them unless you mean it. Love has alot of emotional baggage with it!

What is love?
To me it's having very strong feelings for someone. Not being able to go a day with out seeing them, talking to them or hearing them laugh. Just wanting to be in that person's life. Knowing what's best for them, even if they don't. Being able to listen and understand them, even when you don't feel like listening. Patience! Let them know that you'll wait until the end of time, if you've got to.

You need to start with loving yourself, without that it is impossible to find love in other people. We can enjoy the superficial lust and physical sensations but spiritual love is much deeper, you need to find your own answers.
A good starting point is to read some of Osho or Don Miguel Ruiz

LOVE IS A DEEP AFFECTION OR FONDNESS
towards another living or none living object or event.
If u mean "i love u" then it goes only for the living things (i.e. u can love ur girl friend, ur parents or even ur cat)
On the other hand u can also Love to swim, love ur computer etc.
U can Love a movie, love a birthday party and so on......
The word Love also indicates Sexual passion and Sexual relation.
Furthermore, Love also points toward addressing........ur Beloved one (Sweetheart)

to me being i love is waking up in the morning thinking about that person going to bed thinking about that person. Always thinking if he or she is safe..are they thinking of you ..what they are doing all thru out the day..just the special nothings they do make you smile..just having them near you makes you feel all warm and you tingle inside..just there touch or being in there arms make you feel you are in the safest place in the world..you cant see yourself without them..you wanna grow old with them..and make them the last person you will ever love until the day you die..thats some of the things that true love..and falling in love means to me...
