A question simply to get the points, do you still try to answer the question creatively?

Yes, I do. Right now I just need 5 little points to reach 6000, so your question has come in quiet handy. I usually won't answer a question just to get 2 points. Sometimes though, the question will be so dumb I'll have to respond, but it's not for the points, it's so I can be sarcastic and witty ;-)

Depends on the question: I usually avoid questions that are not worth answering.
Eg.
#>Do you like my avatar? (Ans-NO)/Who else likes my avatar? (Ans-NOT ME)
#>Who else thinks Paris Hilton ( Or Tom Cruise or fill any any other celebrity's name herre) is a bich/dumb /s_hole?
#>Was Jesus/Mohommad/Ron Hubbard ( Fill in your favourite prophet's name) a ( Fill in your favourite obscene profanity) ?
#> Who else hates Muslims/Christians/Americans ( Fill in your favourite ethnicity or nationality) ?
#> What is the meaning of life ?
All these questions are more or less skipworthy. I prefer not to say anything unless it is worth saying. mind you, I can say the stupidest of things when I am in the wrong mood.
But I certainly don't answer for points, not that a best answer mail is not nice to have in the inbox.

depends if i don't take the question seriously then i wont try but if they try to pick an argument then yes i answer creatively

i answer questions honestly and throughly, in hopes that someone will do the same for me. i mean, who asks a question to get a yes or no answer? im sure they want an explanatory answer

I try to have my answers, honestly, humorous and be creative.
More for my own entertainment than for the ten points

yeah. i always do my best to answer. if i just wanted the points i'd say "i don't know." on everyone's questions, which i have seen people do and it annoys me because if you don't know, then why bother answering?

depends on the question, and who is asking it.
some people are just so plain stupid that all they get is really stupid answers.
