How do i tell my best friend that im gay and i really like him?

My extremely good looking (American - best accent ever) friend is the man of my dreams. He often hugs me affectionately and feels my leg jokingly (often). Could he be Gay. Id rather know before i told him i was gay, or would it be best to tell him now?

He has also never had a girlfriend but has plenty of offers. could this be a sign?

Are you sure he doesn't already know you're gay? I'm not gay, and pretty much never hug my mail friends affectionately. I never feel another mans leg, jokingly or any other way. I think he might be gay himself, or bi possibly. I think you should tell him you're gay, but not mention your feelings for him at the time. If he's not gay, you could probably still be friends, but if he thinks you have romantic feelings for him and he's not gay, that could make things awkward.

If I were you, I wouldn't tell him AT ALL that I was attracted to him just yet. Just let him know that you're gay and let him get used to that before you spring this on him. For some people (particularly men), just finding out that someone is gay is enough to cause a catastrophe between friends.

After you tell him you're gay, give him a long while to digest that; and during this period of adjustment, try to study his behavior and attitude toward you. How does he handle you being gay? Does he act more alienated and hostile toward you? Or do you notice that he's really starting to warm up?

The way that he reacts to your first set of news is a very big indication of how he will react if and when you tell him that you are attracted in him. Don't risk your friendship, not to mention your safety, over momentary lust and greed. Trust me on this one. Good luck love!

Well, it depends on how you think your friend will react. If you think he'll be cool either way than I would say honesty is the best way to go. There is no sure way to tell if someone is gay, sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and do it. I would however start by just telling him that your gay. If he takes it well then I would tell him about your feelings for him. Good Luck.

You say he is an american, hugs you and touches your leg. Either he is EXTREMELY comfortable with his sexuality or he is gay/bi. Safe way is to continue hugging back real hard and try touching his leg a bit more often. If he IS gay he will let you know.
