go to the control panel, network connections and then to setup a home or small office computer. follow the wizard and set the first computer with the " this computer connects directly to the internet, other computes connect through this computer" option. this will share your internet connection. make sure you select the right network card when you get to that part in the wizard, it will ask you what card you want to use, select the one that is connected to your broadband modem. do the same thing on your second computer but select the "this computer connects to the internet through another computer on my netowork" option. make sure you are using a crossover cable between the two computers. assign a manual ip address on the network cards that connect the two computers and automatic for the network card that connects to the internet if neccesary, if your internet works fine then dont mess with your internet card. you can use like
ip 192.168.0.10
subnet 255.255.0.0
default gateway 192.168.0.5
for the computer number 1 on the card that connects to the other computer, and for computer number 2 you can do
ip 192.168.0.11
subnet 255.255.0.0
default gateway 192.168.0.5

good luck
