Get a pet (if you can have one where you live), if you have children spend time with them, spend time with friends, take up a hobby, take up a self defense class to let some stress out, volunteer at a local community center or church and most importantly DON'T CHEAT ON YOUR MAN.

The bank of fidelity and trust is a tough lender, if you make a deposit somewhere else your account will be closed forever.

get a job, or go to school.
you have to keep moving forward even when he's not around. if he comes back and sees that you made a mess of yourself while he was gone, in the worst case he might have second thoughts about the engagement.

do you have kids?

go out of your way to help people in small ways, even someone to talk to. no family? no education you everdesired and could be working towards? hmm. learn to hike, it's cheap and all you need is water, and the outside world. besides it's healthy.

I REALLY THINK THAT YOU SHOULD LEARN TO APPRECIATE THE LITTLE THINGS. I HAVE NEVER HAD MUCH BUT IT IS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT YOU DO HAVE THAT COUNT. EVEN IF HE IS GOING AWAY YOU STILL HAVE HIM, BE THANKFUL FOR THAT. BE THANKFUL FOR THE LIFE THAT YOU WILL LIVE TOGETHER ONCE HE HAS FINISHED HIS TOUR. I ALWAYS TELL MY FIANCE THAT AS LONG AS WE HAVE EACHOTHER WE HAVE ALL THAT WE WILL EVER NEED, EVERYTHING ELSE COMES LATER

You don't need money to have fun. If you feel like something is missing then you need to find what it is. Some people find that volunteering is very fulfilling- it will let you see that you don't have it as bad as you think.
