Your nose is shiny because in the nose area and also the chin and forehead regions...there are what are called sebaceous glands thay secrete oil/sebum. People who obviously have oily skin secrete more oil than those who do not. But if you look around even people with normal/dry skin have a slight "shine " to their nose. Either use translucent powder or "tissues" sold to absorb the oil...they are sold in drugstores and drugstore chains..CVS, Eckerd, Walgreen's.....

It's called sebum, everyone has it, it's nature's way to "moisturize" and protect your skin. You just have more of it. Use oil blotting papers or a product most cosmetic counters carry to keep the oil down. Not much you else you can do but keep up with it.

before you go out, rub a slice of lemon on your nose and wherever else your face is greasy, then wash your face with regular soap, after that do your make up as usual , but stay away from make up that increases the 'grease factor'.powders work better with shinyness.trust me, i know from experience, with the reflection my nose was giving off, i was a walking mirror.:)

It's the oil and grease on your nose. Try washing your face more, or you can use these things:

You can absorb the oil on the go, it's really convenient.

Good luck!

it could be down to an excess amount of oil being produced in your glands. dont worry , you can but special t zone strips which will strip any oil and take any blackheads out of your nose.
just remeber to clenase and exfoliate your nose especially

just an over production of oils! its part of the 't zone' which includes your forehead and chin! it happens, keep it in your daily skincare routine, but dont smother it in make up, just dust it with a matting powder, i think rimmell do a good one that wont break the bank. x
