To find out if a diamond is real just go to a jewelry any one should do. They have a little machine with a needle on the end that determined if a diamond is a diamond or not by the carbon (since diamonds are all carbon) If you want a appraisal for insurance pruposes to find out what they are worth any jewelry store should be able to do that too. But be careful an appraisal should cost no more that about $70-$80 a page and despite what they might tell you an good appraiser can usually get 2-3 items on a page. If you just want to know the value of hte earrings then the store should do that at no charge.

Go to a local jewelry store and the experts will give you accurate advice.
It is very easy task for them to find out if the pair is real or fake.

it qiute easy to tell, the weight of the 'dimond' is much heavier than a plastic one. if you are in any doubt just simply ask the person that gave them to you.
