Yes I do. Why is that so hard to believ for some people? If people can believe that the world once had one continent and that we were one time apes, then it seems possible that a city could have sunk into the depths of the ocean. I'm sure that million of years ago a city could have slid into the ocean via mud/landslide, or an island could have fallen into the sea due to corrosion of earth. I think that one day we will have the technology to scan the ocean to depths previously unknown.

Besides, we can't explore most of the ocean floor because it's so deep, and it is believed that our species list of underwater creatures is missing hundreds, maybe even thousands of species due to lack of ability to explore dark regions of the ocean floor. One day, legend will become reality.

But if global warming continues and the polar ice caps continue to melt, there are entire cities that will be under water.

The Maldives, with its highest elevation only a few feet above mean sea level, will be under water.

Given that sea level were much lower in the past there is probably one.
