friends? just wondering because i love sports.

It's nice when a woman like sports, because it gives a shared interest, but it's not a crucial part of a relationship. Now, if she completely hated sports, that might make it difficult, but I think having someone who enjoys physical activities is more important than someone who wants to just watch them on TV.
There are more important factors like sense of humor, physical attractiveness, etc., and the sports thing is just one way in which people can share an interest. It certainly doesn't hurt, though, and it wouldn't preclude me from liking someone as more than a friend.

I love ladies that love sports. In fact a major reason that I am still single ate age 45, is that I have yet to find a lady, who is availible and has other attractions and attributes that would make a good match for me, that would come close to the level of sports interest that I have.
Also to me the MNF game kind of fizzled out and was kind of a letdown.

It was a great game but that's a huge plus. If she can corporate sports knowledge for a couple to share and have something as general as sports that you have in common on top of being hot. But if you are acting like a hardcore lesbian and ugly than...no. I think that is great because she can be your friends and be your girlfriend. Not just to watch it on television but to actually play sports in equaly as good! She can be competetive with you and you can have a good time on a lighter note. To answer your question, yea.

My wife is a HUGE sports fan, and honestly, I saw that as a positive when our relationship was developing. It's always good to have the same interests as your significant other, whether it be sports, movies, books or anything else.
Plus it makes Sunday afternoons a LOT of fun (she yells louder than me sometimes during football games)

Girls that love sports is awesome. That is how I met my wife. Nine years and three kids later we couldn't be happier. She talks as much trash to the TV as I do.
