Tell him the relationship is not going anywhere and that you would rather remain his friend than to stay with him and not make either one happy in the relationship. Tell him he deserves to be happy with someone whom he can establish a solid relationship with.

If he loves you, there's no way to break up with him without hurting his feelings. you just have to be true to yourself. If you really don't like him, love him, or it's not working out then why put yourself through that? Dating is very risky cuz you never know who's going to fall in love. But just be true to yourself and unfortunately if he likes you, he will get hurt. Just be prepared for any reaction.

There is no way of hurting his feelings if you are breaking up with him. Unless you go as far as to do things that will want him to break up with you. But being honest is your best bet.

Honestly. There is no easy way of breaking up with someone. You are going to hurt his feelings, no matter what technique you choose to go w/ while breaking up with him. I think that you should just be honestly with him. Tell him straight up why you are breaking up with him. & hear him out too.

let him break up with you because of your behavior( loose, easy, quick, fast, speedy, dirty, nasty, angry,be like macdonalds over 100 million served,) that way if it's his idea, he won;t give a sh*t about what you think. Nor should he if he's really decent and deserves better than you. If not what do you care , are you afraid he'll haul off and hit you after the breakup? if so, just leave the state. NO FORWARDING ADDRESSES!!and don't date men that hit women. duh.

before you break up with him ask yourself these questions
1.has he done anything wrong?
2. has he been there for me and supported me?
then think back on the good memories
and ask yourself why exactly are you breaking up with him?
then if you still want to break up with him you can
1.Compliment him never tell him his flaws and tell him that maybe you weren't as ready as you thought to be in this relationship, but lets stay friends.
or
2. find out what annoys him and just keep doing that make him hate you so he'll break-up with you so you don't have to

No matter how your words come out, it'll hurt him. But if he's a real man, he will mellow out in due time & he'll rise above the situation & will move on with his life. But as for yourself, make sure that you're sure that you want to break up w/him in the 1st place-----------is it a 3rd party issue?(another man or woman), substance abuse? communication problems? Just think about your decision 1st then go on from there....Good luck!!

It may hurt his feelings, but you must sit down with him face to face and tell him that the relationship is not working out and you need to go your separate ways. Listen to what he has to say, but be firm that it is not working for you, and you need to move on with your life. Eventually, he'll get the picture. Just stay on track and remain firm.

You can't do it without hurting his feelings. If you want to do it, just do it. Be as tactful as you can. You're going to hurt his feelings no matter what.
