It depends, I got my positive 3 days before my period. But you could also get a false negative. I guess just try with your first morning pee, and if negative wait for aunt flo and if none then retest and keep retesting until she comes or you get the positive♥ Good luck!

Read the directions on the box before you buy a pregnancy test - even the early response ones say that they are only 50% correct 5 days before your missed period.

I tested 14 days after I ovulated (I have no idea when my period was "supposed" to come since my cycle is messed up) and was negative, but I was positive 5 days later. So if you test now and it's negative, you could still be pregnant. I wish I didn't test the first time, since it lowered my hopes of being pregnant. But that's just me.

False positives are rare, but false negatives are common.

Good luck! I know (from my own experience) how anxious you must be!

yes it is possible but even when they say that they can predict as early as 5 days before your missed period...it doesn't mean that it will be accurate because everyone is different. i would recommend waiting atleast until the day of your missed period. don't rush to take a pregnancy test to early because if you are pregnant then most likely you will still be pregnant 2 or 3 days from now!

Some pregnancy test you can take up to 5 days before your period. You justneed to read the tests and buy the one that offers the early tests.

Good luck, hope it turns out how you want it to.

It's possible that you can find out now, but these pregnancy tests aren't really 100% effective until you're about a week late.

I'm a week late tomorrow and although I've only gotten faint positives. I know I'm pregnant, but the line still isn't dark yet.
