People laugh at Larry the Cable guy out of sympathy because they think he's retarded and has cerebral palsy. Then again, no one laughs at Steven Cobert.

Hmmm...that's a hard one. They both have there own style of comedy. Colbert is more dry and funny while Larry is loud and obnoxious funny. I would say I favor Larry the Cable Guy while I do like Colbert in Strangers with Candy. He is hilarious!

depends on what kind of funny you want... steven cobert is a more intellectual funny where larry the cable guy is the dick and fart joke crude kinda stupid funny. i like them both.
