The grandma shouldn't have a say at all unless your a threat to the child. Go to court, ask for visitation rights and possible joint custody.

have the mother bring your child over. if the grandmother is stopping the mother from bringing the child over, you may have to go to court. sounds like you are both young. get your act together so the grandma will stop hating you for messing up her baby's life. (this is probably what she's thinking.)

Are you paying support? Do you have an order for visitation? If so, then Grandma can't stop your seeing the baby.

You need a lawyer, and you need to uphold your obligations, too.

Is there a restraint order? Parents always are granted visitation, unless certain dangers are stated. .. go see a judge... Even if it is monitored in the beginning..it'd be worth it to me if it was mine...

Go to court and fight it. It doesn't matter if the grandmother doesn't like you. Pay some child support and fight for your rights. If you aren't willing to do that, quit your whining. You shouldn't see your kid if you aren't willing to help out financially/emotionally.
