I live in the uk you don't get a doctor you just get a midwife.

My wife is a midwife and the care policy is you will be considered high risk of it happening again.

There are so many factors that could change that %age

The question is what would be the likelihood for you individually and your Dr. is best to tell you that.

I hope you are NOT considering only a midwife, since you had problems before. They are great, but if you are more at risk you need a Dr.

You can only be told that there is a chance but they would be wrong to put a percentage on it. They just want to make you aware of the risks thats all.

you should be seeing your GP as well as your midwife and you'll see a dr when you go for your scan surely? ask one of them, I don't think there's much that can be done to prevent it but they'll need to be prepared for it at delivery

I don't know percentages but I do know that the only person I know that had one went on to have one for every one of her babies
