the norm is 4-8months but every baby is different, my lil guy cut his first tooth at 3 months and some babies don't til closer to a year. just look for drooling, a low temp, fussiness, chewing on things and tugging at the ears. once you see those signs check there mouth for white bumps on the gums periodically and a tooth will soon follow. good luck.

Some babies start as early as like 3 months and others wait until 9 or 10 months but there are many product out there that are wonderful to alleviate the pain associated with teething, my favorite when my daughter was young was teething tablets that you stick on their tongue and they melt instantly and numb the whole mouth, Wal-mart sells them, just ask in the pharmacy area and they will show you where they are! Good Luck!

It's different with each child. My son started teething at 9 months, but my niece is a year old and doesn't have a tooth in her head yet.
You will know when they start. Drooling, gnawing on anything, fussiness, and sometimes a low grade temp.

Babies develop at their own pace. Some start teething early, like at 4 months, but mine got her first tooth at 8 months.
It really depends.
Congrats on your baby!

Just watch for excessive drooling and crankiness. Happens around four months, but each baby is different.
