How to conquer the world. Step 2.5?

Yesterday, I started a series of posting on how current events could tie into a scheme by a shadow organization to conquer the world in 5 steps. The first 2 steps discussed were:
1) Enlist a large population spread across international borders as the resource for your army. The manipulation of the Islamic religion fits that need.
2) Destroy the oppositions ability to arm itself beforehand by crippling its economy. Here I mentioned the attempt to disrupt the international currency market by destroying the World Trade Towers and plunging the capitalistic world in chaos. In response, someone stated the theory was flawed because that effect wasn't accomplished. The fact that the desired goal did not happen only means step two has yet to be accomplished.
Another more drastic attempt would be needed to cripple capitalism and eliminate capital needed to mobilize for global warfare. A possible future attack could be dirty bombs detonated in NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Washington, DC simultaneously.
In any event, I'm not trying to establish proof that there is an attempt to conquer the world. I am only pointing out that current events fit into this theory. So, go along with me on this and imagine we are in the middle of step two in this scenario. Here are the three things needed to conquer the world;
1) A large population from which to raise an army of 50 million or more.
2) A great deal of investment capital to mobilize your army.
3) A large stash of arms and nuclear weapons.
That said and assuming the U.S. economy has been successfully destroyed, what might step 3 be in this scenario?

I hope you have worked on this awhile. It is so difficult to get past your step 2...

The population exists already (radical Islam). The money is able to be raised by oil. Russia is supplying the arms.

Forget the steps all together and make a point here . Like the asian community is somehow going to pick up the pieces after it does a masterful job of engineering a world war in which it comes out on top of in several years controlling the world economy.
You forget that we have the greatest natural resources and reserves in the world an while the rest of the world is destroying itself and we risk the lives of the poor service man and Mexican immigrants allowed to serve abroad in what seems like a losing battle it profits the rich here who are gaining more land and resources right under our noses .
Coal ,oil , and our ability to grow food make us self contained as a nation and our only threat comes from the east or west depending on which coast you live nearest .
We worked hard to create trade with Mexico and Canada and they know which side their bread is buttered on so we have nothing to worry about . When we lose control over the oil fields is when we need to worry .Thats why Bush and company wanted a war with Iraq and Iran . We are gearing up to control energy it is liquid gold and much more valuable then money gold or any precious stones .
