There is an all purple villain, Marvel’s Purple Man, who has the power to command people and they obey. (It is due to a hypnotic gas that comes from his skin.) His daughter is the Purple Girl, and she is a hero. She has been trained by the New Mutants, IIRC. Psylocke, who is a telepathic mutant and was affiliated with Excalibur, wears a lavender and purple costume. She is very pretty.
The Encyclopedia of Super Heroes also lists the Purple Mafia, the Purple Mask, Purple Unicorn and Purple Zombie. You might be able to look up more about them on line. Good luck!

In the comic strip "Curtis" the young boy (Curtis) reads comic books with a superhero that wears purple; but I can't think of what his name is...
