Which is larger. A KB or a GB?

KB Stands for Kilobyte, and GB Stand for Gigabyte.
so a Gigabyte would be bigger than a Kilobyte.

The standard size progression is:
1024 bytes (B) = 1 Kilobyte(KB)
1024 Kilobytes = 1 Megabyte(MB)
1024 Megabytes = 1 Gigabyte(GB)
1024 Gigabytes = 1 Terrabyte(TB)
1024 Terrabytes = 1 Petabyte(PB)

Here is a Chart

B=byte
KB=killerbyte
MB=megabyte
GB=gigabyte
TB=terabyte

B=1
KB=1,000
MB=1,000,000
GB=1,000,000,000
TB=1,000,000,000,000
PB=1,000,000,000,000,000
EB=1,000,000,000,000,000,000
ZB=1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
YB=1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

so to answer your question a GB is bigger than a KB look at the chart

A "KB" is representative of KILOBYTE. (Notice the Uppercase K and B. If written as "Kb" then this denotes KILOBIT. One BYTE consists of 8 BITS). You may see "MB", which means "Million BYTES. Lastly a "GB" is a way to represent a BILLION Bytes.

So, in round numbers:
1 Kb = 1000 bits
1 KB = 8000 bits
1 Mb = 1,000,000 Bits
1 MB = 8,000,000 Bits
1 Gb = 1,000,000,000 Bits
1 GB = 8,000,000,000 Bits

(Rounding above. Avtual capacities of disk drives may be noted in "Powers of 2", such as 1024 instead of 1000)

A KB is a kilobyte, it takes 1024 kb to make a MegaByte (MB) and 1024 MegaBytes(MB) to make up a GigaByte(GB).
