Sure. The NFL ( National Felon League) is chalked full of criminals. He is just one of the more famous

I'm not sure. I agree his behavior should at least raise questions about it. But in essence, he was cleared in the criminal trial (which is the important one in this case). Whether he should have been or not is irrelevant, the fact is is that he was.
Added to that, the name on the Ring of Honor is there to honor good players who did well while playing the game, which he did do. His actions since then (murder included if he did it, certainly the book idea was wrong) may have been evil; but they have bearing on how he played the game. I would probably say take it down if I were in charge, but I certainly don't knock them if they want to leave it up. It may also be that it never occurred to anyone who had a choice in the matter to take it down. Maybe if you sent a letter and maybe a few others did as well, it would be taken down. Worth a shot if you believe in this strongly enough.

I find it offensive that you would even ask this question! Anyone who asks that queston cannot possibly be a true sports fan! What O.J. did on the filed was phenomenal! He was an amazing football player! One of the all time greats! That is why his name is up there to begin with! To take his name down now because of something he "allegedly" did long after his football career was over (not to mention his acting career too), would not prove anything! For God's sake, he is in the Hall of Fame! You gonna remove him from there too?!
Get a life and ask some questions that are actually worthy of discussion!

The name is put there to commemorate "The Juice" not O.J. Simpson. It would be foolish to pretend that he didn't once play for the Bills, but perhaps he ought to be moved somewhere less honorable. God knows we need more room to fit all the Super Bowl greats...

Absolutely not! It's very wrong that a man whose ego was so big that jealous and self centered existence took two of God's children out of the world depriving the world of their light and love. His evil is his childrens curse. Repent O.J. and turn around and go in the other direction and try to make amends. You make goodness shine because of your dark heart.

Football has little to do with real life tho kids make hero's of the football players, they will think that as long as they are a "football hero" then they can get away with everything including killing his wife and beating up women in general.
so we have a conundrum. he was a great football player but a real life killer. we don't need our boys to think it is alright to beat up women and we don't need our girls think it is right to be beaten.
so maybe the "honor" part should not be given or some other separator to separate the football player from the man

I think so ... You know, this is a good question and one that keeps getting asked in different ways (ex: baseball & sterioids, etc.). We all pretty much know he killed his wife and her friend, but bottom line is, he wasn't convicted. But I think what he did on the FIELD should be recognized and the shame of what he did off of it will be with him forever.
It's a morality question and there will never be a definitive answer because every person has different morals.

Yes, only because the bad things he did was after his football career. He was no longer a football player anymore, and he wasnt even doing any commentary for the NFL, so leave it be. Im not defending HIM just defending his accomplishments in the NFL!!

No... Orange Juice was named after OJ simpson. They wanted it to have the same initials.
