I hope that the A's make it and win the World Series next year!!

This is the A's Roster as of right now:

Catchers: Jeremy Brown, Jason Kendall and Adam Melhuse
1st Base: Dan Johnson and Nick Swisher
2nd Base: Mark Ellis, Mark Kiger and Donnie Murphy
Shortstop: Bobby Crosby and Marco Scutaro
3rd Base: Eric Chavez and Antonio Perez
Outfielders: Hiram Bocachica, Milton Bradley, Ryan Goleski, Javier Herrera, Bobby Kielty, Mark Kotsay and Charles Thomas.
DH: Mike Piazza

Starting Pitchers would be: Joe Blanton, Rich Harden, Dan Haren, Joe Kennedy, Shane Komine, Esteban Loaiza, Kirk Saarloos and Jason Windsor.

Bullpen: Kiko Calero, Santiago Casilla a.k.a. Jairo Garcia, Justin Duchscherer, Scott Dunn, Alan Embree, Ron Flores, Chad Gaudin, Brad Halsey, Jay Marshall, Marcus McBeth, Dan Meyer and Jay Witasick.

Closer: Huston Street

Also hope the A's can somehow re-sign Barry Zito or maybe get Mark Mulder again to come to the A's.

As for another Bat the A's should go after maybe Shea Hillenbrand or Aubrey Huff!

I think that the Cubs have made many interesting moves, but I have to agree with the above answer. The Cardinals have to be the favorite. They kept a lot of the Championship team, and did add some pieces. And, as the saying goes, until someone beats the champs...

It's too early to say, but watch out for the Phillies in the NL (Ryan Howard & now Wes Helms behind him instead of that stinker Abraham Nunez). They will give NL teams a scare

Georgie's right - it's way too early to say.

We'll see how the first half goes, who meshes well, and who gets hurt. That will play a large part in deciding it, especially for those teams with older players or the injury prone.

Its really to early to say. I have been a Florida Marlins fan since their existence. They wont even come close though. To be completely honest, I think it will be (if Red Soxs keep Manny) Boston vs.Los Angeles. If other things get messed around, another thought is Minnesota vs.Mets
