The site below says that there should be a small area which is a "hotspot" of 30C, generally the temp should not go below 75C;

some people should decide if they are using degrees F or degrees C, i assume you mean 82 F, if you've got it at 82C then the snake is probably dead alreadythe temp should be a gradient of 24-25c at one end and 28-29c at the other end and a basking spot of about 30-32c.

Max basking temperature for a Royal pythom should be about 32C or 90f
Average temperature should be 25c or 77F
