Curious category to post a question like this. I'll ask a weathermen for you next time I see one, shall I?

Seriously, if I was getting symptoms like yours and couldn't immediately attribute it to an innocent cause, I'd go straight to the doctor. It may be nothing, it may not, but I wouldn't want to leave it and be told later that it could have been treated if only I'd gone sooner. Having had a friend die this year of a brain tumour, I'd want to know it wasn't anything like that. It's worth being labelled a Worried Well if it turns out to be harmless.

\When do the blackouts happen? When you're just walking around or sitting? If you stand up too quickly, you can get blackouts as well, as your blood pressure falls drastically. I have the same problem, but I get them when I stand up.

Does that happen to you when you stand up suddenly??

because that happens to me and I get dizzy and it's as if the blood is rushing to the head. Anyway, it's really common so don't worry about it. If the situation is bad I suggest you go to the doctors to see if you are anaemic - I went but it turned out I was fine.

Go to the doctor. No one here will be able to help you on that kind of a level, and there isn't enough information. It's probably an underlying cause.

it could be iron deficiency anemia. this dizziness happens when you bend down and suddenly stand up.(orthostatic hypotension). however see a doctor coz some other disease can cause this symptom too. if my guess was right you will need to take iron pills.

Well since you asked this in 'weather' I can only assume it must be direct lightning strikes that causes them.

Does it tend to happen more often during thunder storms?
