Then there would be a small profile of the owner next to the pet (dogs/cats) and the users, i.e. the owners, could email other users epecially near living ones and talk about lots of things.
Like meeting and going for a walk with their dogs together, or searching somebody who looks after their pet while on holidays...
A friend of mine starts such a site soon(with a strong focus on local communities) and I would like to know what you think of it. Would you use it?

It would be ok, but I would rather see a tv channel dedicated to pets and petcare. Animal planet has a few shows but most are labout wild animals and "safari men"

well truefully my friend already got something started on myspace with his dog. and all of there friends made a profile with there pets and added them. ihave one for my boxer that past away also..... but ya that would be pretty cool. go for it............i might use it just post another question when its done

hell yes i would use it that is like the best idea i have seen on this page. i have a cat and i luv her so much. i would be updating her file every single day.
