I keep telling white lies so she'll have sympathy for me, and I don't know why I do it.

You are insecure about yourself. You want her to like you for what you think she likes and not what you really are. Be yourself, she's your girlfriend and likes you for a reason. Sooner or later white lies catch up with you and bite you in the butt. It's better that you say the truth and deal with real reactions. She will love you more in the long run.

Wow i almost fell for the same thing, that your doing to your gf right now. Please don't do it because its gonna seem like you just want her so that you can have someone to give you sympathy. Why don't you try getting some help with your issues becuase in the end you will totally screw this relationship. If you really love her then you should get help and not lie to her.

well stop because she will find out. are you bragging yourself up? you should have told us a few of the white lies. sympathy is not good if not needed. a mental Dr is. i mean no offense but you are doing this for a reason.

Just quit doing it! They will turn into bigger lies and hurt the relation ship. My boyfriend did this about a year and a half ago. He started with small, stupid lies and it escalated.
