Because they are closed minded people. The baby was found in a poor run down orphanage!!! For orphaned children. She didn't just walk into a village and take a baby from someone's arms. If she is going to love this baby and give this baby everything that a baby could need or want - what is the problem? None! We don't see enough people who have the means to take care of an abandoned baby stepping up to the plate. It really shouldn't matter how madonna or angelina got their children as long as the children were not stolen or harmed in anyway. Madonna's baby and Angelina's children all had NOTHING - no parents or care for them and no realistic means to prosper in this world. If they are sincere, both of these women have done something equally wonderful. The fortunate people who are putting Madonna down should look at themselves and see what they could do to positively change a childs life forever.

Angelina Jolie adopted her children in the proper way whilst Madonna took a short cut and some people were outraged that she could get special treatment just because she is a celeb
anyway I don't really care about them, I think it's good that people are raising awareness of adoption because there are so many unwanted children in the world, it's just terrible and they need a loving home and family.

I'm sure she had the best of intentions and must truly love the child, but she didn't go through the proper procedures that EVERYONE else has to do. She bought her way through it and that is the problem people are having. She didn't have to go through the process like all the other millions of people who are adopting babies. It's a true hassle and being that she's Madonna...she assumed she could go the easy route...MONEY...and it worked. Well, that baby may be taken care of and loved but she just proved that you can get away with almost anything if you have enough money.

I think it is because the media hones in on the celebrities, and we the public are made aware of situations that should very well remain private.
I mean Jolie stole a man from another woman, Madonna is sleazy, Britney is just trash in a dung heap, and Paris? She should live in a cave in Peru.
The media feeds the dogs a bone, and the dogs gobble gossip up by the millions.
What else is there in an immoral society?

I think because now it looks like she's just doing it because of the attention. Angelina seem like she was doing out of love and care, Madonna just went to Africa with a purpose of adoption like she was trying to be in the media.

The thing is Angelina Joline did it legally so there was no come back on her. Also she did it without publicity, she has always put the child's welfare first. Madonna may or may not be well intentioned, but she courts publicity (she always has) only this time there are other people's lives in the firing line.

I guess Angelina did it LEGALLY with an ORPHAN and Madonna got strings pulled and the baby has a huge FAMILY in his village not just the daddy.
AND its MADONNA, how sincere does the average person think she is? She's probably harvesting that poor boys organs.

i dont recall jolie taking the baby right away she waited the legal time. not madonna she paid for him and wanted him now. read the paper girl. she was trying to save her marriage and needed a baby now.jolie is just a flake and i cant believe they let her adopt all of them with out a stable enviroment it goes to show you all you need is money not love.

Angelina did it properly - Madonna took a short cut, & the kid had family, Angelina's did not.

Because Madoinna needed legal documented consent from the baby's father (Only living relative) and she only got it verbally. Next, the father of the child said he never wanted Madonna to become legal gardian, just take care of him.
