Intellisync4yahoo. outlook 03. OK in win2k. but in XP. "Unable to write or update application" message. help

Intellisync4yahoo with outlook 03. worked fine in win2k. In XP SP2 it compares the folders and when it procedds to write the data I get the message "Unable to write or update application". will the "coexistence" patch from Intellisync help? I am afraid to screw up things further by applying wrong patches. the intellisync4yahoo download page says it works with XP so.............
