First Question: Atheists are not allowed to ask questions about God's ultimate plan.

Second Question: I have the ultimate faith that by the time that Bush leaves office there will be peace on Earth, honey will run through the streets like water, all evil in the world will be eliminated, everyone will have a beach front house and a luxury car of their preference. Also Bush will revel that Aliens had visited the Earth in 2002 and given him the cure to all disease and suffering which he will gladly share with us all at no cost.

I thought God made a mistake when Clinton was in the Oval office but now I see that God used that to help the country see the need to change congress and put a man of upstanding moral character in the White House the next time around. Clinton only got in because Ross Perot split the conservative vote. It will be interesting to see what Obama does to the liberal vote.

No, I haven't given up on Bush. I very much believe that we will not truly understand the significance of the positive effect of what he has done for 30 to 50 years.

I also have not given up on God. I believe that he is in control no matter who sits in the Oval Office. That's why even a Hillary presidency does not worry me.

No.

The existence of George Bush and the fact that he is president convinces me that God allows PEOPLE to make mistakes.

God didn't elect him, people did.

I don't think God takes an active role in controlling things like who is elected president. I suspect he lets us make our own mistakes and learn or not learn from them, as we will.

FYI- I'm not a "fundie Christian" or even a Christian necessarily but you could say I believe in God.

Time will tell if W was a mistake, or if he was right. The verdict has not come down yet, my friend. We'll need another 10-15 years to look back and see if the policies were bad ones or good ones.

What? Have I given up on his @ss? I never wanted him as President! I'll be so glad when his tired slide is out of office! He along with others has messed up so bad until I don't think the USA will ever recover from it! Now I know the move he made he felt that it was necessary and Osama did push our buttons but I'm just real tired of seeing our country so divided like it has never been before.

Nope, We were given free will, we are allowed to choose our outcome and make our choices.
Your statement isn't really fair, as all you know about Bush is what you see on TV, and in the news. You don't know anything personal about him, what makes him tick, his thoughts nor moral beliefs. You can speculate biased off what little you see, you can judge the choices you hear about biased off what you would have done, biased off your perception of right and wrong, but to judge him as a person is unfair, as you don't know him as a person.....only a figurehead.

No, because God lets you choose your own path. Your life is how you make it, God just basically presents the facts to you through the Bible. Its up to you on the rest.

Also, No I have not given up on him. It is all people who are rich, live in big cities and are not in the military doing a tour over in Iraq who have been giving up on him.

so you're saying that george bush is God?

it goes to show that EVERYONE who is human makes mistakes. it's a lot harder to make world decisions then to sit behind a keyboard and criticize people.
